I regard the therapeutic process as a rather intimate journey I travel with each individual I see. I focus on creating an open and accepting space, which helps facilitate the development of insight into one’s self and their interactions with others. I provide support as individuals gain a sense of clarity and strength that allows them to take an active role in enacting change, whether personal or professional.

I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals coping with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, cultural conflict, identity formation, and stress management. Of particular interest, I seek to help individuals dealing with early relationship loss and abandonment, including processing this early trauma and identifying and focusing on ways current relationship dynamics are impacted. I also enjoy working with couples seeking to understand and/or diminish the impact of early family dynamics on their relationship, or those desiring to improve communication, emotional expression, and/or intimacy.
